From the mountains of BC to the plains and wetlands of the prairies, the sprawling forests of Ontario and the steppes and highlands of the Maritimes, Canada is full of incredible hunting terrain of all kinds. And the species you will find are as diverse as the landscape itself, from large ungulates like moose and caribou to deer and black bear, ducks and geese, partridge and ptarmigan and beyond, there are few countries in the world that offer such a range of hunting opportunities.

Your map will be filled to the brim with hunting information, including clearly defined hunting area boundaries (Wildlife Management Units, Wildlife Management Areas, Wildlife Management Zones, Game Hunting Areas, Moose Management Areas, Zones de Chasse, etc), Crown and private land for most provinces, National and Provincial Park boundaries, extensive road networks, industry leading contours and shaded relief and more. No other maps allow you to read the lay of the land like these do, giving you the competitive advantage over both your prey and your fellow hunters.

Our hunting data is also supplemented with written descriptions compiled by our team of outdoor writers. This information is found by clicking on the hunting icon, which leads you to a page loaded with carefully researched information on the hunting area (WMU, WMZ, DMZ, etc) you are interested in. Here you will find the area and region name, the main game species found here (from big mammals to game birds), links to the hunting regulations, a description providing an overview of the area, links to weather reports and more. If you wish to know more details about a certain game species, including tips on how to find them, just click on that species. Additional tips and techniques can be found under Essentials.
