TOPO Map Overview

Finally up to date topographic maps of Canada are available! Even better it has all of the recreational symbols, road, trail and recreational text and more road and trail systems than any other map source. These industry leading outdoor recreation maps are available across Canada and come in both printed and digital format. The scales range between 1:60,000 and 1:100,000 depending on the region and cover anywhere from 28 x 37 km (over 1,000 sq km) to 47 x 62 km (over 2,900 sq km).

There are two options for each Backroad TOPO available:

TOPO - Print

Printed on large format (60 cm x 90 cm/24" x 36"), water resistant paper, these TOPO maps are designed by outdoor enthusiasts for outdoor enthusiasts. They have all the great detail of our popular Backroad maps with the added benefit of being enlarged so everything is easier to read and see. Now you can see the map contours and smaller road and trail systems like never before.

TOPO - Digital

Get our detailed, up-to-date Backroad maps in digital format. Now you can play with the maps on your computer, load them onto a PDA or transfer tracks and waypoints to and from a GPS. In addition to a PDF file, we provide the geo-referenced maps in several different GPS compatible software file formats so you can use them with OziExplorer, Fugawi, Memory Map and MacGPS Pro. We also provide them in a Google Earth friendly format to allow you to literally bring the world to your hands. Now the only limitation with our maps is your imagination.
