Lake Charts

Certainly one of the biggest benefits of our Fishing Mapbooks is the contour map or depth chart provided for each lake. The contour map identifies shoreline structure, water depth and underwater structure. Observing these structures on the map will help you locate where fish frequent easier and faster. We have also added the surrounding features that anglers should find useful.

River Hot Spot Maps

Are you a stream angler instead? Well we won't disappoint here either. We feature the main streams in each region and note the hot spots or common access points on the maps.

Map Key

Each lake and stream comes with a map key and location indicator. This feature, along with the access or driving directions, will help guide you into the lake.

The heart and soul of this book is our fishing information. We tell you what sportfish roam the lake, where the likely hot spots are and when the best time of year to visit the lake or stream is. Before you go, it is nice to know what you will find at the lake. From boat launches and campsites to lakeside resorts, we cover it all. Of course, we also provide several remote lakes that have no facilities and provide the perfect getaway.

Physical Attributes

We even provide lake details, such as maximum depth and lake size, to help you bring the right gear to the right lake. No sense bringing a motor boat with down rigging equipment to an electric motors only lake that is only 9 metres (30 feet) deep.

Stocking Information

Quite simply, if you want to catch fish, look for lakes that are stocked regularly. These waterbodies are managed as a put and take fishery to allow virtually anyone to catch fish. On the other hand, the purest will prefer to look for unstocked lakes to find naturally reproducing fish. These might be tough to catch, but the reward is often bigger fish. Regardless of your preference, all lakes that are stocked in the books are clearly marked.
