As we immerged from the trail into the parking area we caught sight of a deer less than ten feet from our Land Rover. She didn’t seem afraid of us and as we moved closer, we spotted a fawn in the trees near her. They moved slowly through the trees, aware of our presence but not overly concerned. It marked another day of seeing at least one deer in the park.Read More >

On  a recent trip to New Brunswick I had the pleasure of meeting Mike Holland, The Resourceful Redneck who also happens to be a co-founder of The Wild Turkey conservation in Canada and Bass Pro's Pro-Staff speaker at the New Brunswick Sportsmen’s Show.  Mike is a seasoned hunter and has committed his life to both his sport and his love for wildlife conservation, especially when it comes to protecting wild turkey populations in Canada.
